Chipotle. Hands down. Franchise wise.
Then there is Nicks. Just south of Long Beach, CA. They might have two shops now. Pure money, either way. I went to Nicks, before going on a cruise of the Long Beach... Amazing. Like he said... Pure Money! |
La Pasadeta in Seeley, CA (just west of El Centro if you can find it)!

There was a little local joint in North Las Vegas on the corner of Rancho and Cheyenne that has/had one of the best I ever had. Not sure if it is still there since it has been almost 10 years though.

La Imperial, Hayward, CA. In the early '80s I taught one of their waiters to fly - for 5 super burrito dinners per flight hour.

La Victoria Taqueria - La Victoria - Home of the original "Orange Sauce" - (408) 298-5335 - 42 reviews
This place is in San Jose...downtown. Freaking amazing. They have this great "orange" sauce you put on your burrito that is amazing. The tacos are out of this world too! I ate every single meal there on a 22 hour layover.:p |
There is nothing better than a Carne Asada burrito at Clayton's Take Out on Coronado (CA). Walk on over to the beach and enjoy the view while feeding your face.
