Default Cool use for Google Voice

I posted an article a few weeks go talking about how Google voice is a great product for pilots. http://www.airlinepilotcentral.com/r...090502335.html

The more I use the service, the more I like it. As an example, I just posted an item for sale on Craigslist and used the gVoice call widget to take calls. Basically the call widget is code placed on a website that requires the caller to enter their phone number and press "connect". gVoice calls the phone number that I have linked to the widget, my cell in this case, and then connects to the caller.

I never had to reveal any of my phone numbers via the web, and when the item sold I trashed the widget. This is a great way to allow strangers to call you from the web in a way that won't compromise privacy or become a problem with phone spam.

Features : About call widgets - Google Voice Help
Google Voice Basics : How it works - Google Voice Help

The service is in Beta right now, but you can get in line for the public rollout. This is a free service that's worth standing line for.
