LOL...you are supposed to aim for the FIRST 1,000 footers not the last one! How long is that runway...3,000ft????

It looks to me like a mini- Old Kai Tak. Short AND scary, yet a hub of commerce. You have to clear a BIG mountain on approach, DIVE down the other side on final, and sharks await you off the far end.

This guy did OK- didn't stall, flared out right over the numbers, then floated.. and floated.. in ground effect. Ran out of piano keys. NO excuse for not going around when he saw he was more than halfway down and not flying yet.

I also notice he had on full flaps for the steep approach. But arriving & flaring at exactly 20 feet over the runway numbers is still a no-go if your airspeed is way many knots faster than your sit-down speed. Me, I just aim for where most of the rubber is.
