No - I have not had a tour of any towers or Approach Controls... I'd take you up on that though- have any friends here at ATL ? Or Peachtree City?

It's not you, they're cool.

Tell us during boarding that you'd like to come up front on your way out, it's almost never a problem.

She/him continued to flirt and told the FO how as a little girl (yeah right) she was always interested in the big jets flying overhead and she was thrilled to be given the chance to see the cockpit for herself. It was all I could do to not burst out laughing and finally Lisa went back to her seat with a promise to return to the cockpit at our arrival city for pictures. As soon as Lisa departed I told the FO that he had spent the past ten minutes entertaining a dude in a bright red dress. He looked at me in disbelief and told me I was full of you know what. We solicited the input of a flight attendant to break the tie and she returned to the cockpit almost in tears laughing so hard and informed the FO he was taken by a dude. We laughed about that for rest of the trip and I continue to make fun of him on a regular basis as we pass in the terminal.

Now that's funny!!!

Atlanta center is located in Hampton Georgia, not too far from PTC.

I love giving tours and taking pictures for people. Most people could care less about flying or airplanes, so it is a joy to share with those who do. Before or after the flight, come on up and I'll show you a CAL 757/767.

Get to know a Captain at an airline and get a royal tour of the airlplane!
i am fortunate enough to know a captain at SWA. He was kind enough to take me for a grand tour of a 737, SWA headquarters, SWA maintenance hangers, dispatch, and, best of all, flight time in the training sims!

Everytime I fly, the pilots at SWA are nice enough to let me crawl around the cockpit between flights.

Default cockpit visits

I currently work for ASA and will start flight training in september. I wrote the cheif pilot a letter asking if I could ride jumpseat to get a feel of what happens in the flight deck during a flight. He issued me a temp. clearance letter good for a month of jumseating. If any of you aspiring pilots work for an airline give it a try, it worked for me.
