A year ago I switched to all natural grass fed free range beef and my cholesterol dropped nearly 50 points. I had a similar experience when I was living in Alaska on an all caribou meat diet.

You would think that all venison would be low in cholesterol however Buffalo is low in fat it is high in cholesterol.

Everyone needs to look out for their health. All natural grass fed beef is a good way to go.

I would rather eat a turd with gravy than go vegan.

I'll stick with venison, soy fed and shot and cleaned by me. :)

In the mean time, I'll agree with my friend skyhigh (never thought I'd say that). Cows don't like corn. It's not good for them. Their stomachs were designed for grass. Grass fed cows are happy cows. They taste better too.

Agreed, for once. Venison is good, I don't get it that often though. Deer hunting is not my fortay in this neck of the woods. However I get my fill of elk. Always to much for me to handle. I need a list of some people near by who can take some off my hands this coming season.

Skidmark raises an important scatological question: Is a turd meat? Does it depend on the diet of the animal that produced it? Can a vegan eat a turd? A vegetarian?

All I can say is that vegans' have no fun. Can't have a hot dog? Burger? Juicy Steak, Fried Shrimp, Ice Cream?!!!! But yet they have no problem having leather shoes.

How digested was the meat?

Well I am glad we had this talk. My wife and I are trying to figure out what's for dinner. I am thinking steak fajitas.

Hot dogs - Tofurky Franks
Burgers - Hundreds of veggie burgers, the best ones I've had were Ope’s Veggie Burger Patties
Steak and shrimp - You got me :)
Ice cream - Chicago soy dairy is pretty good

And I wont buy anything leather or made in Japan.
