****ed off at the law

I'm sitting in my room, and watching a prison show on national geographic. Now they have people who committed murders, and raped little children, and women in the jail. So I'm just wondering, why are we keeping these animals alive? Why are we feeding them? All they do is just eat, go to sleep, etc. They don't have to worry about paying for food or shelter. I really mean this whey I say, I think we shouldn't waste any time or money with these people, they don't deserve to be alive for another second.

I don't know if it's because I was in the military, but there are soldiers out there risking their life in Iraq & Afghanistan for the good of the country, and for themselves, and sometimes when they get back, they have to worry about finding a place to live, pay for food etc. Then there are these animals who don't have to worry about anything.

One thing I thought was cool is the other day I sat next to a guy that his company designs "taste" for things. Gum, candy, foods, etc they create the stuff that makes it taste like watermelon etc. He said one thing they've created and are now using is stuff that takes the taste out of food. They are selling it to the prisons. Apparently not having taste in your food after a while drives people crazy lol.

Hi.
Here are two reasons:
First, and MOST IMPORTANT, by FAR!!!-they may be INNOCENT of the crimes they were convicted of. The state of Illinois stopped executing their death-row inmates when they discovered that about 40% of them were innocent!
If we don't execute them, we can let the innocent ones out, when we find out they are innocent. It is not nice to tell a family that we are sorry we wrongly executed your family member, and we apologize.
Second-It costs more to execute them than it does to keep them in prison for the rest of their lives.
Note: I believe in Life for those convicted of "death-sentence" type crimes. Life with NO parole. The only way they EVER get out, is if we discover they are innocent of the crime.

I just don't understand how an execution costs more than keeping them alive. Far as I'm concerned, they should do it Mafia style where you give them a shovel and have them dig their own grave. This is obviously for the people that are life w/o parole, and I hardly can call them people at this point, they are just savage beings.

Exactly, bring it back old school. It should only cost about $20 to execute someone, a quarter for the bullet and pay the officer $19.75 for 10 seconds of his time. I am a firm believer that if you purposely kill someone, you should also meet the same fate, swiftly and without mercy.
