Hey guys,
I have to write a persuasive essay for my writing class, so i've decided to write it on why pilots should be payed more.
I've been browsing around the forum for a couple of months now and i've seen many posts on just that, so if there's anything that can be added, you can vent it out here! I found a few good threads that deal with this, captain drews thread called "So, you want to be an airline pilot?" gave me most of the information for my rough draft (as well as a good eye opener).
My main point is how pilot pay has gone wayyy down, and the reasons why pilots SHOULD be making more than they are.

Essay
Flying is a difficult profession that unfortunately has a high false fun factor associated with it. Therefore, there is an increasing wave of new pilots who are willing to work for less. The irony is that by attempting to avoid getting a real job they end up working harder and longer for less.

Any thematic essay is only more powerful if it does not contain any spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors. I am not saying yours has these deficiencies, but always do a spell check and ask at least two people who can write well to read your final draft before you turn it in. Have fun!

This thread never got as many replies as I thought it would
. Ah well, I finished my essay & hopefully i'll get a good mark on it. Capt.Drews thread was where I got a lot of my information so i'd like to thank him too, wherever he may be!
