A couple of remarks about this thread:

PILOTFAN is not really a journalist. He is a student at Embry Riddle who has a website devoted to aviation issues. He is more of a blogger than a journalist and certainly not a professional journalist. He's not a troll either, just an over enthusiastic young man.

Reading about the culture at CAL makes me wonder why so many UAL pilots think that merging with Continental would be some kind of panacea.

My sister tested positive for swine flu (from an 'outbreak' at a summer camp) a couple months ago... she kicked it in a few days, no one else in her house got it. It is blown a little out of proportion. IMHO - I'm trying to keep my tin-foil hat up in the closet.. but $100 for every prescription...just sayin'
