And the fees just keep on coming.
Just saw on the news that some airlines want to charge for holiday travel.
This is either a bad dream or the airlines are getting desperate ,I,ll take the old days of flying over the so-called "NEW DAYS ".
I don't even want to think about what they will charge for next.

Doesn't it make good business sense to charge more when there is higher demand? Calling it a "fee" simply allows an airline to advertise a "lower" fare upfront and then once they have the passenger hooked, add just enough fees to prevent them from switching to another airline.
Take two airlines that fly between the same two destinations. One charges $300 total round trip and advertises that as such on their web site (this is also your prefered airline because they serve Pepsi Products or have one free beer or free cookies). The other says that the flight is only $100, but leaves out the holiday fee, baggage fee, aisle seat fee, security fee, fuel surcharge, processing fee and airport tax, this airline also lost your dog a few years ago and the employees really didn't care about finding him in the airport. Which ticket are you going to buy? When you get to the final step of purchacing the $100 ticket and see that there are $195 of taxes and fees are you going to switch airlines back to the one you prefer or save five bucks and suffer terrible service?
