What to do with all these guns...
My stepfather recently died and left me his gun collection. He was a distinguished Air Force pilot and worked for the CIA so he collected a wide variety of guns. I have some experience with hunting rifles, but no experience with handguns. I would like to get rid of most of the guns because I will never use them all, but before I sell them, I want to save a few to remember him. I bolded the ones I plan on keeping, but if you think I have missed an important one, let me know.
Handguns
Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum Model 13-2 Revolver
Smith & Wesson .357 Highway Patrolman Model 28-2
Walther P38 (1944 I think)
Husqvarna Revolver (It is either a 905, 906, 907, or 908)
Colt Python .357 Magnum CTG Revolver
Sturm-Ruger Bearcat Single Action Revolver
Israel Military Industries Desert Eagle MK I .357 Magnum Pistol (I might keep this one)
Dixie Navy Revolver .36 Caliber
Colt Anaconda .44 Magnum Revolver
Glock 21 .45 Auto Pistol
Rifles
Winchester 70 XTR Sporter .300 H&H Caliber Rifle with a Redfield Widefield 3X9 Scope
Winchester 94 .30-30 Post-64 Caliber Rifle
Mossberg Model 590 20 inch Shotgun
Browning Semi Auto .22 Takedown Rifle
Thompson Center Arms .45 Caliber Flint Lock Rifle
Charles Daly Field (Japan) 12 Gauge Shotgun
Numrich Arms 45-70 Buffalo Rifle
Also, I will be going into the Air Force in June (hopefully), and I don’t know if it is possible to carry your own personal side arm, but if it is, which one would you pick? And if anyone has experience selling guns, where should I go?
Thanks.

Go here Firearms - Airwarriors
Join and post the same message in the "Firearms" section. Selling them would probably not be too hard. There are many gun enthusiast that can help you.
OBTW, a personal side arm will probably not be possible.

Make sure you are aware of your local gun laws, as well as those in any state you plan on selling this stuff.
If you go into special operations, you can choose your own weapons (within reason)...otherwise it will be an M9 or an M4 variant.

Keep the Ruger Bearcat. It's a great little gun, probably on the "older" side, and what you'd get for selling it ain't enough to make it worth getting ridof a neat little gun like that.
Selling guns (legally) varies quite a bit depending on what State you live in........ make sure to check on State laws.

From what I understand the most important part is making sure the ammo is kosher for the UN....

How much for the Python?
Selling is easy. List on gunbroker.com. Have an FFL dealer ship it out for you and an FFL dealer has to receive it. On gunbroker, you can search for FFL dealers in your area who will do the transfer. PM me for more info.

Yeah, every now and then you get some dude who wants to bring a Desert Eagle .44 or something else which is totally incompatible with everybody else's ammo. Best to stick with with something which can be supported off the theater log tail.

Guns - Online Gun Auction - Guns at GunBroker.com is like ebay (which doesn't allow the sale of firearms)
Or just store them. A few firearms are always nice to have around.
