Default Type A vs Type B pilots

Found the following post by IC ALL interesting...

"The rules here are simple and common sense. They are designed to keep an anonymous message board full of type A pilots as professional and respectable as possible."

Why is there a differentiation between type A and type B pilots as it pertains to this forum? The whole A/B personality thing is so simplistic.

There is no differentiation with respect to the rules.

The point was the forum is populated by type A personalities who can remain anonymous with what they say here. This place is a unique combination of the typical pilot personality and anonymity. The rules are designed to keep that rather extreme faction somewhat in check so we can have a message board that is useful and productive for all.

The type B personality is not going to cause a problem here. At least that's the way I see it.

I think most people assume a more "type A-ish" personality when they check in on an anonymous internet forum vs real life. Not just pilots.

At least at first anyway.
