Default Jump seat from SKBO? HELP!!!!

I was able to get a job with an airline in Colombia. Please have in mind that I only have 250 hours, so my knowledge when it comes to airlines and jump seat policies is limited.

Can I jump seat to the US in any of the American carriers such as CO, Delta, JB, or any of the cargo airlines, etc.?

My family lives in California, and I need to see them until they finally move here...(no international flying benefits yet)

Thanks in advance for any information or advice, it will really help me now.

If your carrier has a reciprocal JS agreement with a US carrier then you can ride in the cabin for free (maybe pay entry taxes) if there is a seat available.

You cannot ride the actual cockpit JS into the US from a foreign destination.
