Hello,
I've made an app for iPhone which should make our lives a little bit easier while looking at those TAFs 5 times a day.
It's FREE. Try it out and feel free to leave some reviews on it so I could make it better over time.
iDispatch App
Thanks!

Free apps are great, thanks for the work on this!
I would suggest that somewhere in the app description you state which criteria you're using to determine if an alternate is required (1,2,3 rule, etc).
Also, if you're still developing the app, it would be nice if users could add their own alt criteria as sometimes OPSPECS are different than the FARs.
Very solid v1.0 release - Thanks!

Tony and HSLD:
There will be a world wide version. In fact the infrastructure is in place but I didn't know at the te why to use for the American 1-2-3 rule when visibility is reported in meters/kilometers. In other words I didn't know what the criteria for alternate requirements outside the USA.
I like HSLDs idea of letting pilots define thier own criteria and you can expect that as well as opening for worldwide airports on the next version.
As for when...? It will take a little bit as I need to fly my hectic regional schedule and work on apps on my days off that help me pay bills as god knows the regionals don't pay you to live.
I will try to make it happen in a somewhat reasonable time frame.
In the mean time I invite you to download version 1.0.1 that came out today that fixed some major timezone issues. Also if you like iDispatch, please spread the word and join our facebook page for it.
Thank you all for your support!!
