Was taxiing out today and saw Travolta's Qantas 707 sitting in a private ramp area in front of Mariott Renaissance and Delta HQ....pretty neat sight!
Being he lives in Fl, does he fly to ATL to have DL work on his aircraft or maybe he was just in town for an event?

He lives at Jumbolair (Ocala, FL) used to go to the pancake breakfasts there when I lived in Orlando. Must be nice to have a jet-bridge attached to the house. It's a beautiful aircraft and it's been parked on the north side for at least a week. I'm curious to know why he's in ATL also.

He use to have maintenance done at KSFB while I was a Flight Instructor there. Hear his Mechanics on a test flight late one night while I was returning from a night cross country. They were kind enough to invite us over to take a peek. Nice guys, nice aircraft.

Got to meet him and Greg Norman ( they flew in his Gulfstream) back in 2004 at Jacksonville, FL when I first started flying the Lear 31. He was very polite then and spent a few minutes talking to me on the ramp. If anything I was the one to break off the chat so I could finish cleaning up a coffee fiasco created by our passengers.
