Default Rental insurance

Looking for some advise. I may get myself "requaled" at the local airport to fly the Cessnas. They require renters to insure themselves for personal liability, not to protect their property. I'm told AOPA will do this for $150 per year or so. I'm not sure I see the need. I have homeowners ins that (I think) is going to cover me, but even if it didn't and I choose to go naked, its my liability not theirs. Any thoughts??

Sounds like it's going to cost you $150 a year. If you don't want to buy it, you'll probably need to find a different place.
