Sad story notwithstanding, I wonder how they came up with this. No disrespect for the deceased intended, but was there an impact crater or something?

I think it was the location of the body in respect to flight paths, the injuries sustained, and the timing of his last sighting in CLT.

It always amazes me the fact that anyone can live through the gear retraction, but maybe they don't, and the rest is history anyways once they get to altitude for 5+ minutes

At such a young age with his entire life ahead of him, and a horrible death, I feel bad for his family, especially with Thanksgiving tomorrow. RIP
