Forgive me if there is a thread discussing this already but I have looked and not found any specifically to this. I am looking into getting a new rollaboard and thinking about something from the TravelPro Crew8 line. Anyone have one of these and do you like it? Or perhaps another brand and size that would be most recommended?

Luggage Works Stealth. Can't be beat.

Samsonite hardside has worked well for me. I took the hook strap apart and paid a seamstress $5.00 to sew it to a travel pro hook to carry my flight case. I wanted a hardside because when stowed in the belly of the aircraft, condensation would get the fabric wet on the old travelpro. The locks are TSA approved and you can lock valuables in the suitcase when in the motel. Let's face it, the hotel employees are the thieves. I have no complaints about the Samsonite. It cost about $200 and comes in a black color.

Where are you staying? I have been flying for over 20 years and never had anything stolen from a suitcase. I have never locked them either. I have left a few items over the years but never stolen. Just curious!

I have never personally had anything stolen from my motel room. But I don't travel with a camara or laptop or anything expensive. But I have heard of several crewmembers having had their laptop stolen. Usually while checking in. My comment was based on a 60 minutes type investigative show where it videotaped maids coming into the room and rifling thru suitcases.

I have the new TravelPro Crew 8 and think it's a pretty good deal. I heard about the older ones having some issues with the wheels, but they claim to have greatly improved them with the new series. Luggage Works is great too.
