Great point. Why in the hell do Boeings and MD (I don't know about airbus) products not have a stinking intercom and a transmit button like most RJs?

Virgin staff face sack after passengers sent foul message - The West Australian

Crew members on a Virgin Atlantic plane are facing the sack after sending an alleged foul message to passengers' TV screens.

The Sun reports that a message reading "Get up you c---s” was broadcast on all the premium economy TV screens in a flight from Florida to Scotland.

However, the message was reportedly sent by flight staff to the private screens of sleeping colleagues in order to wake them.

"Something went wrong and the message was sent to the whole cabin. It looks like the two crew members will be sacked, as well as the flight manager," The Sun quotes sources as saying.

Virgin Atlantic is said to be investigating the incident.

That's great. That still doesn't equal sending a twit pic of your privates to 40,000 twitter followers instead of the one girl you meant it to... which happens to not be your pregnant wife traveling with the Secretary of State you House of Represenative wiener.

All the hype aside, the guy does have a point. If there were younger, attractive, more enthusiastic flight attendants in the US like there is at foreign carriers, then maybe more people would fly and the airlines would actually make money.

My captain and I may or may not have had this same conversation on my last trip........our conversation may or may not have centered around AARP, flight attendants and food taken off the plane for cats. Although, we did have one leg of which the OLDEST flight attendant was 25....yes, 25. Thank you New York base!!!

Heard the latest around the SWA crew lounges was that they were taking to calling this guy by his new nick name: "PC" for politically correct.

That depends. Is the FO a practicing gay, or just a regular SWA pilot?

I keed. :D

?? The 757/767 does have an intercom. It's the same one you talk to the ground crew with. We just don't use it between pilots..
