Default Wet-Shaving with DE Safety Razor

I have never been satisfied with the results modern shaving tools yield. Modern cartridge razors are expensive and don’t shave much closer than disposables. I am also sick of the permanent irritation on my neck caused by constant shaving with these inferior tools.

While walking around Manhattan looking for a place to get a haircut, I found an old barbershop complete with a grumpy Italian family. The old man cut my hair and then proceeded to give me a shave with a straight razor. That was the best shave of my life!

After some Googleing and a quick walk to a local shave store, I got a travel safety razor set and I highly recommend it. The upfront cost is high, but the blades are cheap and you barley need any cream to cover your face. It takes a couple minutes longer to shave and requires a new technique but the results are great. After 2 days, the redness on my neck has been drastically reduced and my 5 o’clock shadow is now more of a 10 o’clock shadow.

I challenge you to throw away your disposables for good, unplug your electric, sell your 5 blade cartridge sets for scrap metal, and pick up a safety razor and relearn what men used to do to be men!

And to include women, it will work for your legs too.

Already a convert, couple years back. Now, if only I could use it more than twice a week, I might travel with it
