So who says a moderator cannot and should not stay away from APC and still live to talk about it?

It's been more than a week now since I left my home to make a most emotional trip to the place where I was born. I don't think I have ever cried so much while on vacation! I mean, crying real hard, and in front of total strangers. Geez.

What are some lessons learned? Plenty, I would say. Family and friends are the most important thing in life. Kindness, caring and compassion are noble attributes to which we must all aspire. It is possible to come home and find that so much has changed, yet nothing has changed.

Finally, I am glad to see the usual suspects on APC behaving themselves. Meaning, nobody got banned for posting the same old tiresome nasties. Vacation won't end for a few more days, so get ready y'all for my return!
