Location for RBF Tags on A-4 Skyhawk
Greetings;
I just recently got back into making 1/48 scale model aircraft, and my latest project is the TA-4J Skyhawk Trainer. I have been doing research on the location for the Remove Before Flight tags that ground crews place on the A-4 Skyhawk, and have not found much. I know that you would find RBF tags on the nose gear and pylons, but have not found any information about arresting gear or cockpit locations.
I know the Skyhawk was primarily used for carrier operations. However, my particular model will be tailored from the VC-8 Red Tails, particularly Red Star One. Since this squadron was land based, I'm not sure if the location of RBF tags would be different then carrier operations.
If there are any former A-4 drivers or ground personal, or anyone that just knows stuff about the Scooters, I would greatly appreciate picking your brain about these RBF tags.
Thanks!

Google 'The Collings foundation' and look at their page on the TA-4F that they have. On that page will be contact information for Rick Harris who heads the Houston office. He will be able to tell you exactly where all flags and safety pins go.

Thank you USMCFLYR. I will definitely take your lead.
It will take a while for me to finish since I only have around two days a week to work on it, but I will definitely post photos as it comes along.
