Of course Antarctic Ice is also forming at a record level so it stands to reason that lakes could be formed by either rapidly melting ice or, just as likely, rapidly freezing ice. But there is no profit in pointing that out.
https://www.nasa.gov/content/goddard...record-maximum I also like how the link you provided said that the losses in the arctic far exceed the antarctic. Well done sir, well done. Golf clap. |
I stop by and lurk here now and then just to see if the dead horse is a bloody pulp yet.
The ice is melting, the earth is warmer or various other climate indications are changing somehow. If legitimate science shows that, fine. I won't dispute that. What's hilarious is that all you guys posting these links in triumph and wringing your hands over this think the human race has the ability to control these changes you're so worried about. |

What is hilarious/sad is some people's inability get perfect out of the way of the good. Such thinking is a great way to stifle progress. |

I also like how the link you provided said that the losses in the arctic far exceed the antarctic. Well done sir, well done. Golf clap. 'While the major worry outside of Antarctica is sea-level rise from the glaciers behind Larsen C, "it will also be a shame if the Larsen C ice shelf disappears as well," said Jansen. "I have spent so much time now looking at the satellite images, and I really love this ice shelf, it would be such a tragic thing to see this thing go."' Let us send the world into poverty to help a horny ice "scientist" keep his one true love. Ice loves matter. |

Control? No. Affect? Yes.
What's sad is the amount of money and effort being funneled towards this fantasy at the expense of worthwhile endeavors. I'll be back in another 6 months to a year to see how you guys are doing. |
