H.M.P. I have to call you on this one. Referring to the act of eight of our peers being murdered at their work station by getting their throats cut, then having their aircraft pirated, and then used as a weapon to create mayhem and terrorize the general public is certainly NOT "...an unfortunate event." Sure, there are some guys who have that 'new-sheriff' syndrome. But, what IF that door does get kicked in AGAIN. (Please don't retort that "it wouldn't happen". that's what everyone was saying on September 10th)

Every FFDO I have flown with (about 10+) has used it as an easy way through the security line only.
Hey chig,

I've got an idea. Why don't you try and follow the next FFDO you're flying with when he "bypasses" security and goes to his or her own special checkpoint?

It would be HIGHLY educational for you not to mention you'd get to meet some nice new folks at the local PD and DHS.

You don't have a clue so in 10+ years the system has worked well. You are not authorized to have a clue.

"Special" checkpoint - TSA smurf with a LEO binder. GMAFB.

Really? It took you two months to come up with that retort? There's a bit more involved than a LEO binder.
Good program - training was second-to none. Sorry to see it watered down, and eventually, gone. Thanks to those who volunteered their efforts.
