Those weren't newspapers. They were um......maps. Yeah. Maps of the United States. That's why they said USA on them.

I've been guilty of that. I wear prescriptions, and sometimes when I'm doing the commuter dash I don't get them changed out before I get off the plane.

I know you're jesting, but sadly enough, there were several people on here who tried to tell me exactly that. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but after over two decades of doing this, I can tell the difference between USA Today and an enroute chart.

FA who comes up to report each and every silly thing said/annoying act by passengers during boarding, interrupting multiple conversations and checklists in the process. A close second is the ramper entering the cockpit with his radio jacked to earplug-override levels.

Commuting to MEM from ATL, had the chance to listen up the captain's summary of his past military experience: fighter airplanes flown, total flight time, total fighter jet time and, of course, his total aircraft carrier landings. All this through his "Welcome aboard" speech over the PA...

Ooooooh yes! That type is always eager for a chance to spread the gospel about themselves and their almighty accomplishments in life. They know it is the only public forum left for them to spray forth the ego-fumes.
Dang! That was a little brutal but the truth does hurt sometimes.
