Default Ground Support Equipment accessories

I am trying to find a supplier for abrasion protection for fuel delivery hoses and GPU cords.

The hoses we use for refueling our aircraft are dragged across a rough concrete surface which causes rapid wear. I have seen fuel trucks that have orange plastic or PVC wraps that protect against this type of problem. Does anyone know of a supplier?

I also need to protect the cords or cables on our GPU which are also wearing. I have seen a rather thick PVC type of protection that is basically a bunch of 1" or so wide rings of thick PVC or plastic that covers the cords. If you know where I can purchase these please let me know.

Thanks

You need hose spiral protectors. For your GPU you will get away with the cheap Chinese stuff at a bout .25 a foot.

Spiral Hose products, buy Spiral Hose products from alibaba.com

This will satisfy ISO14000 for the shielded electronics, power, pneumatics and hydraulics ONLY. For fuel transfer you will have to buy the compliant expensive american stuff:

Hi-Viz Coil Hose Protection

If you operate from improvised strips; layflat. Its agricultural irrigation kit. It is essentially canvas fire hose coated with PVC and its dirt cheap. Any ware you see the john deere or case ih logo you will find it. I'm guessing your not a 'bug smasher' though...
