I am about to buy a lap top from amazon.
I noticed they offer something called "SquareTrade 3-Year Computer Accidental Protection Warranty"

Have any of you bought that and actually used it? Seems like all the retail stores charge much higher price for offering same warranty...

Thanks guys

I have a square trade warranty on my iPad 2. Haven't had to use it, but most reviews are pretty good.

Sorry, cant help with the warranty as I am not familiar with it.

I have Amazon prime and use it all the time. It seems that for nearly anything I buy that I cant get at a local store (LOCAL, not a local best buy or wal mart) Amazon has not let me down.

Their prices are great, shipping is incredible and the few times I have ever had customer service issues I have called and gotten an American that handles the issue promptly without a question.

Same here. Free movies with a wireless connection. Free shipping on Prime designated items. Do most of my shopping on-line. Best 80 bucks a year I spend.

Ive got a Viera LED TV that has the prime on it as well. A lot of great movies on there for free through prime.

I am as cheap as they come and I think the 80 they charge is a good value for the use we get out of it.

Prices are great, you are right!
I have bought things such as ironing Starch to a watch from Amazon.

Yeah, similar here. I have that Roku box for the TV or I can sit in the backyard or upstairs and watch movies on either a laptop or a Kindle Fire. I went for the Kindle Fire mainly to read but I can rent or purchase movies from Amazon and keep up to ten of them on there and then watch them on the road without wireless.

You can park the ones you own on the Amazon Server and pull them across then just pick want you want to watch and take them with you. There are just some movies I can watch over and over again (yeah, I'm one of those) like Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil or To Kill a Mockingbird.

Never thought I would be one of those gadget nuts, yet here I am.
