Captain at legacy ASA, currently doing all I can to hang in there until I finally hang up the hat (which I need by the way!). Strong supporter of choice in aviation career progression, and have no desire to seek a position at a major airline. Currently rated on CRJ series with somewhere around 15k hours under my belt. Happy as Larry but completely Banjaxed. (Google it)

Greetings,

I am writing on behalf of Northeast Aviation Scholarship Inc. to request your help in supporting our Aviation Scholarship program. Northeast Aviation Scholarship Inc. is a Non-Profit organization based in Epsom, NH. Our goal is to provide financial assistance to anyone pursuing a Pilots certificate or a new rating or endorsement.

Northeast Aviation Scholarship Inc. is asking for business sponsors to assist us with raising $1,000 for a scholarship giveaway taking place in December 2014. We will be asking our scholarship applicants to submit either a short essay or video on why they deserve the scholarship. The application submission dates are October 1, 2014 thru November 15, 2014. Our Board of Directors will review the applications and choose a scholarship winner.

The reason Northeast Aviation Scholarship Inc. started this Aviation Scholarship program is that it’s very expensive for anyone to pursue their dreams of flying. The average cost to obtain a Private pilots certificate is approximately $10,000. Because of this cost 80% of all student pilots never finish learning because of financial reasons. Northeast Aviation Scholarship Inc. would like to help people pursue and finish their dreams of flying. Imagine if there were no pilots flying us to our vacation or business destinations.

If you have any questions about our scholarship program or if you’re considering a donation we can be contacted at 603-608-9258. We appreciate you considering our request.

Sincerely,

Robert Kitson
President- Northeast Aviation Scholarship Inc.
