Yeah, mine says something like 178° in the literature and it does just fine as far as I can go to the side and still see any of the panel, and mine is pretty inexpensive. I think that was much older technology/generation where that was an issue. For those of us that haven't bought a TV in 10 years, it's so much better it's not even worth worrying about.

As far as viewing angels, my Samsung DLP TV had a limited viewing angle, but my current LCD as mentioned in other posts is very good throughout.
