GEICO commerical with caveman
#1
This will show how boring layovers can be. I'm in Chicago, watching CNN and reading this forum. I just saw the cave man commercial, the one where the guy is walking on the moving sidewalk in a airport terminal, looking at a poster of himself. It appears he has a Continental boarding pass in his hand, anyone got an idea what airport this is??
Don't waste too many braincells on this, just (trying) to have a little fun with a stupid commercial.

Poor baby! That is a boring layover. If the "DXB layover: what not to do" is any indication, you should try to get over there instead. We should ask Tony about it.
I think the airport in the commercial is Lincoln, Nebraska. Oh wait, that airport doesn't have moving sidewalks. Darn.

Pretty sure the airport is LAX based on the tower in the background... based on the angles and building layout, I would take a guess and say that it's probably a window in terminal two that faces towards terminal three.
Might be terminal one though (where SWA operates out of) looking at terminal two... It kinda looks like that might be a Virgin Atlantic 747 in the background, but the aircraft in the foreground doesn't look like SWA, America West or USAirways, which is what operates out of those gates...

Actually looking at the diagram, the distance from the tower, and having been in terminal one... (which IIRC, doesn't have narrow corridors) I'm changing my answer.
The shot is from the Bradley International Terminal (south end) and looks towards terminal four. That's probably a Qantas aircraft in the background.
Perhaps one of the LAX based folks that get out there more than I do can confirm that...
