Default Log Book entries

Do any of you high-timers perform log book entries in monthly increments? in otherwords, does everyone still do their log books line by line, flight by flight? I was thinking about the ramifications of future hiring if I just made monthly entries. I know its lazy but will that cost a job down the road?

I do daily. I have four large logbooks, if I did leg by leg I would have 16-18 large logbooks, which would be a bit ridiculous to bring into an interview. If I ever get on with a major I will do monthly totals.

If you plan on applying and moving up, keep good records. The little red airline log books are actual log books. For awhile I would log in the red log put and transfer the whole day on one line. Later on, I went to each flight per line, but I was doing long legs on widebodies.

If you are at the job you want for a career, then you don't need to log anything. The company keeps track for you.
