The plane however is not stationary, neither is the camera. As the plane passes the camera, the camera is also moving to the right. If you keep pausing the video while the plane flys past the camera, you will notice the airplanes shadow matches the shadows of the bushes.

The lower you go...the easier it is to see what not to hit!! TA low level rocks!!! Just not in a damn tanker.

On a TDY to Diego Garcia, our crew was ferrying two F15's to Kadena.A couple of hours out from Clark AFB, we spotted an aircraft carrier with a Soviet trawler
dogging her 5 or 10 miles back. The fighter jocks announced,"Watch this!", and proceeded to peel off and do a low-level flyby over the trawler's masts.
We had a young Captain that came over the intercom and said to everyone
"Hang on!"
I was riding with the boom operator aft as we did a wing-over and decended
from FL320 to the deck! Didn't know a KC-135 could fly like that!
The A/C announced the closure rate as we approached the trawler, and as we passed over the boomer dropped the pipe and off-loaded a thousand lbs.
of JP4!
He came over the intercom and said," I don't know what happened, Cap'n,
but we just lost a thousand lbs. of gas!"
Everyone on board got a chuckle, and the Soviet swabbies got a JP4 shower!
(Sorry, no pics-just a hazy flashback to the late '70's..)

Hmmm.... As much as the stupidity of some people never ceases to amaze me, I find this hard to believe. The boys up front would have had to flip on a pump to offload the gas, so this couldn't have been the boomer's doing by himself. If this is a true story, it's no wonder everyone else in the world thinks we're A-holes.
