I'm surprised no GA guys have responded to this. This is a huge step in the right direction. Part 23 is outdated and terribly confusing. I know A&P's who don't know whether they are doing things by the book and then when they check with the local FAA guys, even THEY can't interpret it anymore. This is long overdue. I've been looking at aircraft purchase for awhile now and honestly the headaches with refurb and part 23 have kept me away. Hopefully this helps to make GA just a little more affordable for everyone!
