Same thing. These people have known nothing but fighting for generations upon generations. Until there is literally a genocide or complete migration of opposing groups there will never be peace. Even then, I would expect some sub-set groups to form and once again restart the whole process for a power grab.

These areas are not really countries as we know them. They are groupings of "tribes" that truly despise each other. To think that a centralized government (other than something like Saddam had) will ever work in this region is pure wishful thinking. They will continue to fight and kill each other long after all of us are gone.

I seem to remember Apple coming out a while back with a new product called the iTouch.
When they decided to market a version of it for youngsters, they came up with a new name for the derivative.
It was called the iTouch Kids.
For some reason, it wasn't flying off the shelves like Marketing thought it would.
