iPhone vs Samsung
#1
Are there any former iPhone users that have made the switch to Samsung? Why did you do it? Do you like the Samsung? Are there any advantages to either phone on a trip?
When the iPhone 6 was released, I made up my mind that Apple just isn't doing anything new and innovating anymore! Just the same boring iPhone in a bigger shell! I am really tempted to jump ship to the GS5, but I want to get some more opinions first.
Thanks folks!

Well not that I'm an apple advocate, but most of what Samsung has done was use android to copy apple in a larger shell. I haven't seen anything from Samsung that was miles ahead of apple.
Cost and flex are samsungs main attributes.
Best of luck.

One thing to consider when buying a cell phone is to get one with Corning's Gorilla Glass. If you do a Wikipedia search it will list the products using Gorilla Glass screens.
In February 2012 I dropped my iphone 3gs which landed on its corner and shattered the screen. I went to the ATT store and purchased a Samsung Note 1 with accessories. It was a new product that had only been out for 1 week. The manager of the store gave me 30 days to try it out instead of the normal 14 days. Everything seems to work fine with the apps and so far it has held up with only having to replace the battery.

It seems that most of what the new iPhones are touting has been around since the Galaxie 2 or 3 and Note 1. They have even discovered my favorite...Swipe.

We will be going back to IPhone soon. The Samsung has lots of crap. Too much for what we need, and it does have way too much going on all the time. I just am not willing to put forth the time to learn it all, and I am tech savvy.
I think it is designed to be a 20 something's laptop/tablet all in one. I have an iPad and a Mac. I can't wait to go back to my iPhone.
