Default Vacation..LHR and CDG

Hi all,

Im taking my kids this summer for 4 days in LHR and 4 days in CDG. Im fairly familiar with CDG. Not familiar at all with LHR.

So, where to stay? Hotels or areas? What to do? Kids are all almost adults. How to get from LHR to the city? Etc Etc.....

All info is appreciated......

You can take the "tube" from LHR to the city. I like to stay near Victoria Station because of its central location -- most everything is walkable from there. Used Expedia and Rick Steves guidebook to find a hotel and choose what to see: Rick Steves London 2015 by Rick Steves | Barnes & Noble

I stayed around the corner from Waterloo station. It a large station so you can get about anywhere from there. It was about a 2 min. Walk to the Eye and 5 min. from parliment. We rented a 2 bedroom apt from homeaway.com for about $750 for a week after the conversion.
