Default Good Books to read on reserve

So I've been sitting on reserve for quite sometime now and have been reading to help pass the time. If anyone else is in my situation I thought I would reccomend a few good books to check out.

Freakenomics- Levitt/Dubner
The Fabric of the Cosmos- David Greene
Mere Christianity- C.S. Lewis
Me Talk Pretty One Day- David Sedaris
Blue Like Jazz- Donald Miller
Searcing For God Knows What-Donald Miller

And I think my next one will be "1776"... it's been suggested by a few people now.

Any input you want to share please do... this is meant to be informative for everyone.

Longitude - Dava Sobel is an excellent / quick read...

Stalingrad - Anthony Beevor is a brutal / no-holds account of the famous battle based in interviews with the men (on both sides) that fought there.

Delta Force by Eric Haney- Story of one of the first members fo the unit and his 20 years there. One of the best military books I have EVER read.

Currently Green Hills of Africa by Ernest Hemingway- Good for those hunters out there.

The Things They Carried - Tim O'Brien

---For all you Viet Nam fans, it's a VERY good read.

Never stop studying!

"Hard Landing" is a great book if you're all about airline history.

I just finished "The World is Flat" by Thomas Friedman & also enjoyed his "Longitudes and Attitudes"

I second LAFFs recommendation of 'Longitude' - good read.

I've read all 4 of Dan brown's books. I didn't like Digital fortress but the rest were very good reads. My boss told me if I liked Da Vinci code then I'd love a book called Aztec. I've read reviews and they all rave on it. Guess it's gonna be my next one.
