Wellington is windy, that's for sure! My kiwi friends call it Welly in the Roarin' 40's. Great town though - probably my favorite city in NZ. Great New Zealand museum called the Te Papa is there - also some of the finest Kiwi men reside in that city. 
Not like you male people care about that, but thought I'd pass that along to the gals.
