NFL Reffing this year

Is it just me or has the Reffing in the NFL been especially hideous this year?

Some games I've noted lately that have had just awful Reffing:
Bears/Packers
Niners/Cardinals
Packers/Lions

The last two the refs decided the outcome of the game. I feel like we complain each year that refs make bad calls, but I feel like they have been consistently poor this year. Or maybe it's just me?

The calls are consistently inconsistent and I think that's what irritates most people. One week you can't go a play without a flag then the next there are hardly any calls. They either need to just let them play or call everything. We just need some consistency.

I say let 'em play! To hell with some of those stupid rules (cough*completing the process*cough)!

Packers/Lions : bad call, but a bad call only In the light of slow mo instant replay. It wasn't a smart play by the lions player and a great sell by Aaron.

This year has been exceptionally bad. This game used to be not so complicated. The end of the Bills/Pats game two weeks ago was amateur hour.

I believe certain calls should be reviewable and expand the ability to challenge a call. It is still better than NBA reffing

On the flip side, it cracks me up when an obviously legitimate call is booed by fans/swill drinking armchair referees that side with team at which the call is against, no matter how legit. This happens much more frequently than actual bad calls.
