The hi-ils into Roswell. Often called "The Widowmaker"

I remember doing that one in pilot training. The 6Ts at it's best...lots of twisting & tracking going on with that one.....makes my head hurt! Vectors to final for me thanks.

RNAV RNP RWY 28 into Juneau...Only Alaska Airlines is permitted to do it. It features a series of twists and turns through a valley...pretty neat...I'll get an approach plate soon enough.

NDB RWY 34 at Sparrevohn, Alaska can be exciting. Notes like "Approach from south only, land RW 34 only, and successful go-around improbable, if initiated past the MAP" lend to the Kodak moment factor.

Just looked, the NDB to 8 in Juneau is no more. It had lower mins than the LDA. And if you're circling to 26, just turn off the ground prox, it's going off non stop when start the course reversal.

Try circling to 13 from that NDB approach. It's killer...almost literally. Also, the RNAV Y at Sun Valley is super easy, but the published missed takes you 86 miles to the hold.
