Ingram is one who took us from being proud and profitable to being a second rate bit(#.
He spent time and money on Seagliders and FA's wearing either gender uniforms while we were continuously losing money.
The 717 news comes from the Alaska side I think because the airframes are either owned or low cost. There will need to be a replacemennt in the future, but no other aircraft really fits the niche.

The difference between heart surgeons and tailors: Both sew things. The tailor, if he gets in wrong, has the customer walk around with one paint leg too short. The heart surgeon, if he gets it wrong, on a heart bypass, ends up with a dead customer.

Why would they get rid of payed for aircraft that are making money first? The 717 will be around until it's cost prohibitive. They don't have the aircraft to cover what the 717 does.

....And they are certainly not going to REDUCE interisland frequency and cede that market to SWA.
