We've lowered the new member posting limitations to 3 days and 3 posts. If you meet both of those thresholds you should have minimal restrictions.

This is subject to change if things get too spammy.

I've been having trouble finding the reason that I'm not allowed to post. I found the "introduce yourself" section and posted there and was under the impression that would allow me to post but it didn't work. I will keep trying to reply to a few other threads and hopefully that will work. I think it would be beneficial to have clear instructions for new users that are easy to find. I have been digging around this forum for a while with no luck on finding anything like that.

I can't seem to make posts, do I need to get approval from someone, or fill out a form? Thanks!

Hi everyone!

I have been browsing this site for a few days now and need some advice. Was hoping to ask everyone and say hello by creating a post but it says i don't have permissions too? do i need to wait the 10 days for this or have to post 10 times in order to get this?

Those settings have been adjusted. You should now be able to create threads or posts, but they go to a queue for moderator approval until you have three posts and have been registered for three days. A mod will approve those with 24 hours. Be aware that the spam filters will flag some posts regardless of your post count and longevity
