just some additional info:

If you logout, it works fine. I can browse the forums on chrome on iOS (phone or iPad) as long as I'm logged out. The second I login is when I can't read threads.

I have been having this issue for months on an iPhone (multiple browsers) if I was logged in. Today I came across this thread and tried the "Request Desktop Site" in Chrome and it now acts normally when logged in.

I just changed the settings to "request desktop" mode for Safari and it fixed the issue.
