How to delete/edit a post?

I need to remove a post I made on the forum. I am logged in but don't see an edit or delete link. Any help?

You can edit a post only for 15 minutes after making it:

Airline Pilot Central Forums - FAQ: APC Forum FAQ

This encourages accountability and thinking before one types. You can always correct in a subsequent post, or, in drastic cases, PM a mod/admin to remove your post if it is truly in error. It is up to the mod/admin's discretion, however, to grant your request. Hope that helps!

Actually the edit feature remains for many hours although the post will be time-stamped if edits are made after the first 15 minutes. I try and make at least one edit after the time stamp on every post just for the fun of it. After some number of hours the edit feature also disappears, something like 24 hours, and then only a moderator or administrator can change or remove it. Of course of it was offensive we would have already deleted it well beforehand, but occasionally a user makes a boo-boo and wants their post deleted which we try and accommodate for a small fee.

:)

Or the use of some common sense........in this age of wanting to blurt out your every thought to the world.
