Default Banned Users

I'm curious about how to PM a "banned" user. I had a brief chat with HSLD about it but I'm still not quite sure what to do. There's a user on here that was chatting back and forth with me about doing some flying together and all of a sudden about a month ago his profile suddenly said he was "banned" and no PM's are allowed to be sent to him. However on his profile it says he has recent activity (although none of this activity is posts or PM's).

How does a user get "banned" when there's no posts or threads from them that are flagrant or against the TOS?

How does a "banned" user still show log ins and activity if they're banned?

What gets a person banned? Was there something behind-the-scenes that made that happen?

I guess I'm just confused on what it really means and how to continue my conversation with said user.

Thanks!

It's still the same answer as when we had this conversation via PM. A banned user does not have the ability to log on to the site, thus there is no opportunity to have a PM dialog on APC.

Forum rules are outlined at the top of each forum, under the link: Forum Rules. Most posts that violoate the rules are removed from view.

To be clear, there is no way to continue a conversation with a banned user as the banned user cannot access their account.

Ok that makes sense. I'm just confused as to how they can show recent activity (as in a week ago) when they were banned over a month ago. Must be a glitch.

Thanks.
