Hotels are provided while in base
Impressive! If that means commuters have a place to stay while on reserve in NYC that's a pretty good deal.

Have a friend that got hired on the 757 out of ORD/RFD that didnt have any PIC turbine and alittle over 2000tt. I think they have a hard time keeping guys around. I use to work at Emery Air in RFD where they base the 757's and now some 737's. Lots of international operations.

Two guys I know just got hired there on the 757. They were hired as f/o's but will be typed on the a/c and will also fly the 767. According to my friend, they are getting 2 767's I believe from DL, which I found hard to believe given DL's int'l expension plans, but my friend confirmed this with the D/OP's.

I couldn't get the Ryan website links to work for Pilot positions. Maybe that means they aren't hiring anymore pilots right now. I'm interested to know about the quals of the new hires.

They were both f/o's at regionals...one was ex ACA/Indy the other XJT. I believe they had around 2-3k hours...no PIC turbine for either one.
