Corporate flying is good and has a better life style than the regionals, but I don't know how quick SIC time will get you hired. In the corporate world for jet they want PIC, turbine, and usually time in type if not a type rating. For turbo props maybe but you must understand that insurance companies truly run the show on hiring minimums and they want PIC time.

Specifically, for an airline, you are not responsible for as much work as a corportate pilot. Remember that there are generally no flight attendents and no people to load bags on the flight line. That is YOUR responsibility. Remember that YOU may be incharge of food and drink preparation. Remember that YOU must file the flight plan and determine your route. Just a few heads up |
