Nothing yet.

The pay raises are still being negotiated and we should know something in a week or two. I myself would also like to know soon. Yes, the Caravans will be single-pilot and VFR only for now. I would expect though they will be IFR operated as we get more of them. We have only one 208 right now and they just wanted to get it flying ASAP.

Interviews and ground school for the Otters are being conducted in Boulder City (61B). I would be happy to forward resumes to the Chief Pilot. There is a ground school starting shortly for the Otter.

Anyone interested in flying Cessna T207s, we are also interviewing for a ground school at the end of March for Air Grand Canyon.

Would an Active Duty Air Force pilot have a chance for a part time job? I'll be on a non-flying assignment in Vegas for the next 3 years (moving there this summer). My times: 1000 turbine, about 800 PIC turbine all in fighters. Would love to continue flying somehow and I'm interested. Thanks.

We do hire Part Time Captains but not Part Time F/Os. The only limitation with your time might be that it is centerline thrust. With an ATP and some training I doubt that it would be too much of an issue.

Thanks,

I don't have the ATP yet due to total time, and I was planning on getting the centerline thrust limitation removed via training at the local FBO. I'll definitely try to make contact w/ the company once in Vegas to see what the options are. Thanks again,
Mike

Is there still a training contract? Or was that just a Scenic thing?

What are the schedules like?

Canyonair 03-08-2008 07:35 AM

No training contract. Schedules generally are 5 on 2 off. You might be able to work out a 4 on 3 off schedule. Depends if you are a Captain or F/O.

Man, if they make the pay something livable, I will break my long-standing vow to avoid flying for Scenic.

cfii2007 03-19-2008 02:15 PM

Dumb question....I applied to Scenic about 6 months ago, since you guys are not "officially" merged, I'd be applying and interviewing with totally different people (at GCA) this time around?

Blackwing 03-19-2008 10:58 PM

Any word on the new pay rates?
