Here it is ...

61.1 (b)

(3) Cross-country time means—

(i) Except as provided in paragraphs (b)(3)(ii) through (b)(3)(vi) of this section, time acquired during flight—

(A) Conducted by a person who holds a pilot certificate;

(B) Conducted in an aircraft;

(C) That includes a landing at a point other than the point of departure; and

(D) That involves the use of dead reckoning, pilotage, electronic navigation aids, radio aids, or other navigation systems to navigate to the landing point.

And proskuneho's assertion appears to be the consensus, in my experience. The requirements for each rating are different (ATP is 50nm, but no landing). Re-total your logbook, fella, and I hope you get a pleasant surprise.

Thanks gentlemen. Unfortunately, I was already counting my point2point. This is a constant issue for me, as my main gig to date has been flying jumpers...I could be flying Twin Otters, King Airs, and Caravans all summer...but I'd lose out trying to go 135...just can't get the cross country.
