I will move by the end of the week... they just have to get off their high horse and pay to type pilots....I know LOTS of quality pilots who would work in any number of foreign countries if the type and time in type requirements did not exist.

Usually basic salary is a part of a complete package, the offer they are giving is very attractive if you look at it from all aspects such as productivity, night flying, credit system ,transportation, overtime and annual bonus.
Im a captain MD-90 with 7 years service with Saudia, my paycheque for last month totaled 16,248 $, my flying activity was as follows: I Flew 64.6 actual flying Hrs, i was credited 82 Hrs and 35 Minutes wich put me into 18 Hrs and 52 Minutes Overtime, i had 194 Hrs of actual layover, productivity and Night Flying compansation are 8 Hrs and 20 Minutes. Basically in brief: i flew 65 Hrs but i was paid for 92 Hrs and 12 Minutes. So don't you agree that it is an attractive offer in terms of cash let alone the newly furnished accommodation with free utilities and schooling package. Im just trying to be fair since im actually living here and plan to retire here That is pretty darn good! |
