Other Thread in Foreign

This same thread has been started a few days back in the Foreign section.

I looked at the pay since I have a 747-400 Type. I was actually pretty disappointed:

F/O pay was between 5333 and 7500 bucks a month (min and max). That was base pay, but I can't see the other fringes making it all that much higher.

I can make that at UAL on the Bus....and not live in the "Magic Kingdom."

They make you live in Disney World? That would be a deal-breaker

I can't get anything to come up. What are the pay and benefits for a 320 Cap?

Ergo the original quotation marks around a tongue-in-cheek statement. I've spent a lot of time in Dhahran and Riyahd. Never did find Tomorrowland. But I found pre-recorded history land.

Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and Saudi... all places I have been and vowed never to return. :(

Usually basic salary is a part of a complete package, the offer they are giving is very attractive if you look at it from all aspects such as productivity, night flying, credit system ,transportation, overtime and annual bonus.
Im a captain MD-90 with 7 years service with Saudia, my paycheque for last month totaled 16,248 $, my flying activity was as follows:

I Flew 64.6 actual flying Hrs, i was credited 82 Hrs and 35 Minutes wich put me into 18 Hrs and 52 Minutes Overtime, i had 194 Hrs of actual layover, productivity and Night Flying compansation are 8 Hrs and 20 Minutes.

Basically in brief: i flew 65 Hrs but i was paid for 92 Hrs and 12 Minutes.
So don't you agree that it is an attractive offer in terms of cash let alone the newly furnished accommodation with free utilities and schooling package.

Im just trying to be fair since im actually living here and plan to retire here
